The tax on the works, paid when you install.
Requirements: Art. 4.b de la ordenanza del ICIO (BOP núm. 33, 16-02-2023): 30% a favor de las construcciones, instalaciones u obras que incorporen sistemas de aprovechamiento térmico o eléctrico de la energía solar. Las instalaciones deben reunir las condiciones del art. 9 de la Ordenança Reguladora de les instal·lacions solars fotovoltaiques d'autoconsum connectades a la xarxa de Vallada. La bonificación se aplica sobre la cuota resultante de aplicar, si procede, la del párrafo a) anterior. La solicitud se presenta al Ayuntamiento de Vallada aportando la documentación acreditativa de la instalación, según el procedimiento de esa misma ordenanza solar. El texto añade que el ayuntamiento se reserva la potestad de aplicar las bonificaciones.

Income tax deductions do not depend on your council: grants and deductions 2026.
In Vallada it goes through a responsible declaration: the documentation is filed with the council and there is no need to wait for a licence decision. We file it for you, along with the rest of the paperwork until the installation is fully legalised.
Vallada has its own procedure on its online office: 'Declaración responsable actuaciones urbanísticas (placas solares)'. It asks for the declaration form, the ICIO self-assessment form for solar panels, ID and power of attorney where relevant, the ICIO payment receipt, a technical report on the installation, a structural safety certificate for the roof, an itemised quote, the deposit receipt where it applies, and the low-voltage certificate that qualifies for the IBI discount. This is backed by its ordenanza reguladora de las instalaciones solares fotovoltaicas de autoconsumo conectadas a red (BOP nº 206, 26-10-2022), which makes installations under 10 kW subject to a declaración responsable.

Yes. Article 5.5 of the IBI ordinance discounts 10% of the full bill for properties with a solar thermal or electric system. That is a modest rate next to other villages in the district, but the ordinance sets no limit on how many years it runs.
